Acclimating a soldier from the forties to modern day Seattle is easier said than done. Especially considering the soldier's basically been in cryostasis for eighty years. Max is trying taking it slow, bringing him clothes to Logan's apartment when he needs them and stopping by to hang out every once in a while, but she knows that eventually she's going to have to try and get him out of the apartment and into some semblance of normalcy. And the first step to normalcy is getting a job.
Or at least "getting a job" as far as Jam Pony was concerned.
Max rolls her bike up to Logan's front door, knocking lightly before just trying the handle and letting herself in. It's not like she really respected Logan's boundaries in the first place considering the first time she met she was stealing from him. She lets the bike rest against the counter before speaking up.
"Anybody home?" She glances around. "We're going to be late."

The solider is not sure he is ready to reenter a world he no longer belongs to. He'll do it though if only because he owes Max that much. She saved him when it would have been easier not to. That apparently worth a lot in this brand new world.
He springs to his feet and goes to greet Max as if he'd never been reluctant to do so in the first place. Steve's still not the sharing type. Whatever anxieties he may have of rejoining the world are staying buried deep inside his heart. "In here." He flashes a smile the second he lays eyes on her. "Ready?"

It takes some getting used to, but she's confident that Steve will find his way, sooner or later.
"Ready. Let's go." It's better not to drag it out too long. "Have you done messenger work before?"
